 SOPHIA: Muhammad Asif has won the final of the World Snooker Championship here. Asif defeated Gary Wilson of Britain 10-8 in a thrilling final. With this victory, Asif becomes the second Pakistani to claim the title. Mohammad Yousuf had won the championship in 1994 while Saleh Mohamamd lost to Indian Pankaj Advani of India. |
