Tennis courts in Savannah, Tennessee

Savannah, Tennessee is a small town located approximately 120 miles east of Memphis. With a population of just over 7,000, this town has a number of residents who enjoy the outdoors and many frequently visit the local tennis courts to enjoy a good match of tennis against friends and family.
The tennis court is located on the corner of Pinhook Road and Bain Road in Savannah, Tn. This court sits in the same area as the skate park where several teens visit to challenge themselves riding a variety of ramps and grind rails. This tennis court is mostly used in the spring and summer months when the weather is nice. Many visitors can be seen playing a tennis match in the evening when the sun is setting and there is a cool breeze in the air. There are some that visit the courts just to relax and enjoy watching a competitive game of tennis.
There are two full size courts available in this location. These courts are known to be in good shape with good quality nets housed inside a tall, chain link fence enclosure. Visitors of all ages use these courts and there are times when the local high school will use this court for practice for an upcoming game or tournament.
The tennis court is available all year long and it is free of charge. The area the courts are located in, along with the skate park is operated by Savannah's Parks and Recreation Department. Visitors will find that this area is very clean and safe; it's the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a great game of tennis, whether you're playing single or teams.
If you find yourself getting too hot and need refreshment, there is a small convenience store located just a little less than a quarter mile from the park. In addition to the convenience store, there are several varieties of fast food restaurants as well as dine-inn's.
Please keep in mind when visiting this tennis court; you will need to bring your own equipment and any other necessary essentials. The park does not have any facilities that offer racquet, towel or ball rental. This is just a small town's court that offers a great location for a friendly game of tennis, whether it is for the locals or those of you traveling from out of town.
